Hi, I’m David, and I’m so glad you’re here.

My journey to becoming a hypnotherapist wasn’t a straight line. It’s deeply personal—filled with struggles and triumphs that taught me compassion, resilience, and the power of self-belief. I’ve faced my own battles with depression and dark times, so I understand first-hand the courage it takes to reach out for help. I was on antidepressants for over eight years, and it was a series of life-changing sessions with a therapist that helped me find my way back. I came off medication and, for the first time in years, felt in control of my life. Later, a difficult career change at age 50 pushed me to follow what I believe is my life’s purpose: helping others find the same kind of freedom.

Celebrating Successes
Seeing clients transform is what drives me. I remember one client, Amy, who came to me feeling trapped in anxiety and depression, struggling with self-destructive behaviours that were impacting her relationships. During our sessions, she opened up, laughed, and started seeing herself differently. By our fourth session, she had a breakthrough that allowed her to rebuild her family relationships and, most importantly, find peace within herself. She later told me that her life now feels “normal,” happy, and content. Knowing I had a part in that transformation is what keeps me motivated.
Outside the Office
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me by the beach, enjoying the beauty of nature. I’m a big fan of comedy (I’ll take it live, on TV, or on YouTube—wherever I can find a good laugh), and I cherish time with family. I also love hitting the golf course and taking my touring motorcycle out for a spin—two hobbies I’d love to make more time for.
